Saturday was a free full day workshop

Our Joy of Bonsai

With bonsai artist from Derby to Devon and many points inbetween attending and loads of challenging raw material to work on, we were set for a great day.

In between coffee, catch up with old bonsai buddies and making new bonsai buddies, exploring, indepth, bonsai ideas, more coffee and sandwiches, reviewing possible futures progress on the trees present, etc... we did managed to work on a few trees.

As a group we discussed the options of the scots pine.

After much discusion and general agreement, we set to wiring.

We would like to thank everyone that supported Dragon's weekend informal bash. Members and guests alike.
You all gave so much to make this event a such a joy to attend.

Scrolls, Books, Magazines, tool and many other bonsai related items were for sale at great prices.

A very full poly tunnel held our bonsai auction. So full was it many couldn't fit in.

Gerwyn did a sterling job with his walking stick hammer.

Everyone went away with a bargin or 3

The attending bonsai artists advise the newly aquired owners on their new bonsai.

The was a wonderful atmosphere during the whole weekend.

The weather was very kind to us and the food was great.

It was a joy to be part of such a bonsai weekend.
