Dragon's Exmouth display
6th June 2010
by Chris T.

What more could you ask? Up at 3am, meeting up with some great mates at 3:30am and away we go. Yes, it's another bonsai show, we are on our way to the sunny southwest. With apit stop for coffee and to met up with a few more bonsai buddies, (nutters), we arrived at the Exmouth Pavilion.

My self,Chris, Jerry, Lewis, gerwyn and Brian were bright eyed and bushy tailed and set up by 8am.

Anthony met us there and it was with little effort that Dragon display was put together.
This is the second year that Lewis has lead the display. It was an interesting concept that he came up with.
Evolution is not only a Darwinian thing anymore.

The show at Exmouth has gone from strength to strength over the last few years. The usual suspects in attendance, Bob, Paul and Terry from Swindon and new to the show and very welcome this year was Mark and Rita from Cardiff, between them they put on a high quality Chuhin, shohin and mame display.

Breakfast was as good as ever, if a little late.

It was a great pleasure to catch up with Owen and the Cornwall lads and to see their trees. Wow.. that weeping juniper.

What a great day, with people that matter in this discipline of ours.
